Ear Impression Shipping Guidelines & Important Notes

- Once your impressions are ready, contact us via direct message (DM) or customer support to obtain our workshop’s current receiving address.
Step 2|Packaging Instructions
- Individual Protection: Wrap the left and right impressions separately to prevent them from sticking together or deforming under mutual pressure.
- Rigid Box Packaging: Place impressions inside a rigid cardboard box packed tightly with bubble wrap or cushioning foam. Do not use soft padded envelopes.

Step 3|Dispatch & Notification
- Photo Verification: Take a quick photo of your box contents and enclosed note before sealing the package.
- Provide Tracking Details: Send us the photo along with your courier tracking number so we can monitor your package in real time.
- Timely Shipping: Ship your impressions within 3 to 5 days of sampling to prevent natural material contraction or subtle ambient deformation.
Important Notes & Guidelines
- Impression Condition: Production is strictly based on the physical impressions received. Please ensure thorough packaging to prevent crushing or thermal distortion during transit.
- Quality Requirements: Impressions must clearly capture the full ear canal, concha, helix, and tragus without missing edges or large air voids. (Singers and live performers are strongly recommended to use a bite block, ensuring impression depth passes the first canal bend).
- Engineer Review: Our master technicians evaluate all incoming impressions. If an impression lacks required depth or features severe defects, we will contact you to discuss whether a fresh re-take is required.
- Shipping Expenses: Inbound impression sampling fees and courier shipping costs are paid by the customer; return shipping for the finished CIEMs is covered by DS Audio.
